Migrant boat capsizes off Lampedusa: 21 missing

A boat full of migrants sank in Italian territorial waters. Coastguard soldiers rescued seven Syrians who were on a capsized boat. Survivors say that 28 of them left Libya on September 1st and that after a day of sailing the accident occurred. The survivors lost their mobile phones. According to the accounts of the seven Syrians, 21 people were missing, including three children. The refugees were disembarked at the Favarolo quay in Lampedusa and have already been transferred to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district.
