An action to protest and raise awareness of the very harsh conditions in which migrants detained in the Milan detention center as well as in other CPRs spread across the national territory are forced to live. “We want to make apathetic Milan understand what is happening within it – declared the activists explaining the meaning of their gesture – so that no one has any more alibis, in the need to make the voices of those who are inside to outside. , to fill the silence and aggressive opacity that the Prefecture continues to spread over the structure. The degrading conditions to which detainees are subjected, known for a long time, are shameful and unacceptable. » The Radical flashmob also adopted the body language used by two of the same CPR detainees, who, on February 10, had undressed in the courtyard of the establishment, remaining in their underwear in the rain. An extreme protest against the unworthy conditions of their detention, particularly in terms of food and health care. From Milan, the activists' demand is clear: the closure of the CPRs throughout the country. An initiative that asks the government to also support PD municipal councilor Daniele Nahum, who joined the garrison, which was also joined by the local groups Green Europe and Action U30.
