An ultralight aircraft crashed and caught fire around 5pm near the Premariacco airfield (Udine). The two occupants of the aircraft were burned and died yesterday evening, 2 September. They are a 15-year-old girl, a student, from Roveredo in Piano (Pordenone), and her flight instructor, a 31-year-old man from Udine. The aircraft crashed during an acclimatisation flight (initiation) and, once it fell, caught fire causing very serious burns to the two occupants. Their condition worsened over the hours. The area and the remains were seized by the Carabinieri on instructions from the Public Prosecutor's Office.
