Rome prosecutor Alessia Natale has opened an investigation into the bridge over the Strait of Messina. The initiative follows the complaint presented by the honorable Angelo Bonelli of Green Europe, by the secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein and by the leader of the Italian left Nicola Fratoianni. The complaint challenges the planning and construction of a stable connection between Sicily and Calabria. It was placed in Piazzale Clodio on February 1st. The investigation starts from the procedure put in place by the Meloni government and the Minister of Infrastructure Matteo Salvini. Natale generally deals with crimes against public administration.
