The former Formula 1 driver and brother of Michael Schumacher has published on Instagram a photo showing him with his partner Etienne, while they are enjoying a sunset by the sea. It is the first time that the couple has shown themselves on social networks in a snapshot that leaves little room for interpretation. Within minutes, the message was greeted by a wave of comments from people happy for them and appreciating Schumacher's gesture. But his first supporter is his son David, who immediately shared his father's post.

Among them, Carmen Geiss, as well as a well-known face from German television. The latter said: “For him, it was an act of self-acceptance and liberation. It was a courageous decision that matured for a long time. His departure is not only a personal triumph, but a sign that he is finally able to live and love his identity without fear or shame.” Ralf Schumacher was married to TV presenter Cora Brinkmann from 2001 to 2015.
