Paris, the diver slips during the inauguration of the Olympic swimming pool

French diver Alexis Jandard slipped on the diving board during the inauguration ceremony of the Olympic swimming pool at the Saint-Denis Aquatic Center.

Jandard, who represented France at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, fell on his back and hit the board before falling into the water.

In a post responding to the video of his fall published on X, Jandard joked about the embarrassing moment: “Thanks for the support! FYI, my back is fine, but my ego…”
