The tests, between the Pont d'Austerlitz and the Pont d'Iéna, concerned 55 boats, with river traffic stopped all morning.

They were originally scheduled to take place in April but were postponed twice due to bad weather.

A first general test was carried out about a year ago, on July 17, 2023, with around forty boats.

The first boats, all numbered, had on board passengers carrying signs symbolizing the delegations from the different countries who will take turns along the river on the day of the inauguration.

The next test is scheduled for June 24, this time with 89 boats.

The Games of the XXXIII Olympiad will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.

The Paralympic Games will begin on Wednesday, August 28 and conclude the Summer Olympics on Sunday, September 8.
