It’s time for “Melodi mania” again. The imaginative relationship between Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Indian President Narendra Modi, in his third term, was born on the Indian web and is fueled by memes, but also selfies and videos to which the leaders themselves lend themselves sympathetically. The reason for the recent commemoration is the publication of the Prime Minister on Instagram on the occasion of the 78th Indian Independence Day: “I would like to express my most sincere wishes to the people of India, and in particular to the many Indians who follow this page. Italy and India share increasingly strong ties and I am sure that together we will achieve great results. Our strategic collaboration is an important pillar for the future. The reactions of the users were not long in coming, many commented inviting fans of the “relationship” to click on the “like” button, collecting tens of thousands of clicks.
