She was married to George Harrison and Eric Clapton. The first wrote “Something” for her, the second “Layla” instead. The auction includes two love letters from Clapton, written while Boyd was married to Harrison, and the original cover of Derek and The Dominos' 1970 album, “Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs,” as well as a painting of a blonde model that reminded Clapton of Boyd. There are also letters and notes from Harrison and his handwritten lyrics for the song “Mystical One.” The objects will be on display at Christie's headquarters in London until March 21.
