Tragedy this morning in Genoa, on the tracks of Sturla station, where a 19-year-old student died after being hit by a train. The dynamics of the incident are not yet clear, whether it was a train accident or a voluntary act. The police, write the local newspapers, are not ruling out any hypothesis. The Polfer agents were on site, who requested the intervention of the Judicial Authority, as well as 118 operators. Once they arrived on site, they could only note the death of the young man. Major delays were noted on the rail lines throughout the morning.

According to initial testimonies, the boy went down alone to the platform and waited for the convoy. From what emerges, he sent a message to his father before going to the station. Polfer's agents take statements from people who were waiting on the platform near the scene of the tragedy.
