Drug dealer rapes girlfriend and stabs her to death: 33-year-old man arrested. The case of the Novara region

Breakthrough in the investigation into the murder of Fadili Charaf, a 28-year-old homeless man of Moroccan origin, found dead in the woods of Ticino in Oleggio, in the province of Novara. The city's carabinieri arrested a 33-year-old Italian, already known to the police, for aggravated voluntary homicide. And his 19-year-old girlfriend was released for moral complicity in the murder, because she allegedly incited her partner to take revenge. According to the investigators' reconstruction, on the evening of July 24, the woman had bought drugs from the 28-year-old man. But the man then raped her in the woods.

The stab wound

Having learned of the alleged violence, the following evening, driven by anger and the presumed instigation of his girlfriend, the 33-year-old Italian allegedly searched for and found the drug trafficker, in the same place where drug trafficking usually took place, and stabbed him in the chest and back until he died. Charaf's body was found on the morning of July 26 in the same wooded area where he was killed. While the 33-year-old was taken to Novara prison, where he was questioned by the judge for the preliminary investigation. According to investigators, he killed Fadili Charaf as punishment.
