On Tuesday afternoon, the bells of St. Catherine's Church in Eindhoven rang not the canonical melodies, but the Eurovision song by Joost Klein. A campaign is underway, also supported by radio, to bring justice to the Dutch artist who was unable to perform in the Eurovision Song Contest final after a complaint from a female team member of production.
In Eindhoven, the Carillonneur Rosemarie Seuntiëns sitting at the top of the church tower with her sheet music, she performed Klein's song and people downtown could hear it. Several cities took part in the action. The song is currently the most successful streaming competition hit in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
