Barbara D'Urso's new life away from television. With a partner, he does pink events. Then he takes care of the farm and a mini brick empire

The next meeting is Saturday March 23 at The dome in Milan for the wedding open day with presentation of wedding dresses and everything needed to organize a wedding. An event of B&Fable srl of Pescara, which is the new company launched by Barbara d'Urso which almost coincides with her abandonment of television life, expelled by Mediaset. And which also deals with “pink” events along the lines of those that filled D’Urso’s television schedule every afternoon.

The last idea: organizing events for weddings

B&Fable is an events organization company founded by Maria Carmela D'Urso (the real name of the television presenter) and Francesca Cardarelli from Pescara who owns the remaining 50% of the capital. The paths of the two crossed during the summers of a few years ago, when D'Urso was host to the Cardarelli bathing establishment, the Penelope mare in Pescara and his restaurant Penelope. So they decided to do something together and the founded company began to take its first steps in the summer of 2023, with the aim of then organizing Christmas events and corporate and private parties last December. A few days ago the two found themselves together again at an event for the launch of “A table tale», a television program broadcast every Wednesday at 9 p.m. on Foodnetwork Italia on digital terrestrial channel 33.

With his two sons in other companies that he has owned for several years

Being a start-up, B&Fable has not yet presented its financial statements, but considering how involved D'Urso is in the entrepreneurial adventure, it does not seem like a failure at all. However, less satisfaction has come in recent years from the management of the two other companies that D'Urso spa controls, also associating with the capital the sons Emanuele and Gianmarco, fathered by the television producer Marco Berardi, with shares minorities. One son followed his father's footsteps into television production, while the other is an accomplished surgeon specializing in liver transplants. The first srl created with them is an agricultural company that cultivates land in Montalto di Castro, in the province of Viterbo, and the second is a real estate company.

The family farm leaves some disappointments in the accounts

The family farm is called BGE agricultural enterprise, which actually does not seem to shine in the accounts. While waiting for those of 2023 which will be approved by June, those of the previous year showed a turnover of around 34 thousand euros with a loss even greater than 47 thousand euros. However, D'Urso believes in it and knows that in the past a few extra euros have come from it. So much so that he granted an interest-free loan of 742,207 euros to the company for its development. However, the farm's properties are either registered directly with D'Urso (a 10-room villa) or, as is the case for a 70 square meter warehouse, with another company to which the children always participate.

The little brick empire that stretches from Milan to Sicily

The brick company of D'Urso and his sons is called BBD real Estate srl and has 8 buildings and in addition to the warehouse and a building in Montalto di Castro, it has apartments in Rome, in the district of Cortina di Ampezzo, in via Frattina and via San Nicola di Tolentino and in Milan, in Brera. It then has a contract with Unicredit leasing for the purchase of a slightly more decentralized building in Milan. D'Urso granted the company an interest-free loan of 2.6 million euros. The asset is classified in the balance sheet at 2.7 million euros after having sold buildings that belonged to the company until 2021 for 3.3 million euros. The real estate directly attributed to the television presenter is more visible . Between buildings, garages, cellars and land, there are a total of 22. In Milan (almost all in Brera), in Rome (also in the Cortina di Ampezzo area), in Montalto di Castro and in Noto, one of the most evocative places in Sicily.
