The vault of Rebecca Greggio and Davide Zanella is gold

Italy on the roof of the world. Rebecca Greggio and Davide Zanella won the aerobatics World Cup final in Basel (Switzerland) in the Pas de deux. Both blues were perfect and, after winning the “round 1” of (8.196), they repeated in the “freer” (8.863) for an overall score of 8.596.

Rebecca Greggio and Davide Zanella obtained three marks above the nine in the test, confirming the very high level of their performance, excellently supported by a concentrated Orlando Tancredi, a 13-year-old Italian gray, and by Claudia Petersohn in the slot.

After bronze at the Herning 2022 World Championships, the two Italians thus confirm themselves among the best couples in international aerobatics. The victory also represents a nice revenge for them after seeing their trip to the United States for last year's World Cup final, where they were among the favorites, fade away at the last moment due to a banal bureaucratic problem.
