Spanish footballer Lamine Yamal's father stabbed: it's serious

Mounir Nasraoui, father of the new European champion and Barça star Lemina Yamal, was stabbed last night during a fight in a car park in the town of Mataró (Spain), about an hour and a half from Barcelona where the man lives. As reported by the Spanish media, Nasraoui's condition is serious and that is why he was transferred to the emergency room of the Can Ruti hospital in Badalona, better equipped than the hospital in Mataró.
According to La Vanguardia, the investigation unit of the Mossos d'Esquadra de Mataró that is handling the case has already identified some witnesses to the incident, according to whom Yamal's father could have received “more than one stab wound”.
The man's condition is serious, although – according to Marca – his life is not in danger. According to initial investigations – based on what is reported in the Iberian newspapers – the knife attack would be the result of a “settling of scores” for events that occurred in the recent past.
