In the case of Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano and the role of Maria Rosaria Boccia, who was promised an appointment as a consultant to the Ministry of Culture, but which did not materialize, some events in which the former director of Tg2 participated are now also being examined with Boccia in tow. These are two appointments in Liguria, in the province of Imperia, this summer. One in Riva Ligure on July 11, one in Sanremo on July 16. In the first case, it is the mayor Giorgio Giuffra who explains that he paid out of his own pocket for the travel and hospitality of the minister and his entourage. Including Boccia, who also received no official mission. “I paid for the trip out of my own pocket, without weighing down the pockets of the citizens, as the mayors of other small municipalities do silently who put their hands in their pockets for social or marketing reasons. “I usually don't say anything, but given the outcry this story has caused, I am obliged to clarify it,” Giuffra explained. In the evening, Sangiuliano paid a brief visit to the seaside village, participating in the inauguration of the Sale in Zucca event in the evening.

The event in Sanremo

A week later, Sangiuliano and Boccia were in Sanremo: the minister had been invited as the author of his book entitled Giuseppe Prezzolini – The conservative anarchist. The weekly Gente has published some exclusive photos showing Boccia and Sangiuliano together in front of the hotel and in front of the Casino that hosted the event, and which also covered the travel and reception expenses of the minister and staff.
