Rome, finds diamond ring thanks to husband's social appeal: 'Always grateful'

A story with a happy ending. Certainly for the owner of the Damiani diamond necklace, worth around 6 thousand euros, found by Linda Tabacchini, librarian of Villa Leopardi. The story begins with the loss of the diamond ring, until a moment before on a lady's ring finger, at a point of sale where the woman had gone shopping. It continues with the social announcement of her husband who, with a post on Facebook, tries everything and (with complete confidence) asks Internet users. “Yesterday, around 7 p.m., my wife lost a Damiani diamond necklace in front of Conad, Corso Trieste, near Piazza Annibaliano,” explains Danilo B on his Facebook profile. “You will imagine – writes the husband again in the post of February 28 – that beyond the pure economic value, it has a deep emotional value”. So “if anyone has found it, they can contact me, we will be grateful and grateful.” THANKS”.

Reward and gratitude

No offer of reward, just gratitude. But the happy ending, unexpectedly, arrives. The next day, Tabacchini intervenes with a dry “I wrote to him privately”, followed by a new post from Danilo: “It was nice to discover that there are still honest people, the most sincere thanks go to the one who returned the ring today I found it with my wife. We will always be grateful to him. Thanks also to the founder of the group for making the use of social networks useful to the community!” The Damiani was returned to the library the next day. “The lady arrived directly with a pretty tray of croissants – says he Corriere della Sera Linda thanked me by explaining that it had a special value because this diamond ring had been given to her by her mother and that she valued it very much.
