Romania, Andrew Tate arrested (again) for “trafficking and sexual relations with minors”. Brother Tristan is also in the cell – The video

Just yesterday, Wednesday, August 21, we learned of the search of his home in Romania during investigations concerning him. Former kickboxing champion and misogynistic influencer Andrew Tate, his brother Tristan and 4 other Romanians were arrested on new charges, including child trafficking and sexual intercourse with minors. The victims are said to be 35, mostly girls, some minors, deceived and forced to appear in pornographic videos. A judge in Bucharest will have to decide whether to transform the detention into an arrest. The Tate brothers deny all accusations, speak of lies, corruption and in a video that appeared on social networks, they declare themselves “disgusted” by what they are accused of.

Arrest after interrogation

Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested by the Romanian Anti-Organized Crime Agency (Diicot) after their interrogation in Bucharest. The police issued only a brief statement on the episode and spoke of six arrests among Romanian and foreign citizens. One of these “foreigners”, Diicot reports, allegedly forced a 17-year-old girl to have sex for a video from which he could earn money after its sale. The man also allegedly kept the entire sum. He later had an intimate relationship with a 15-year-old girl. The profits were then concealed by buying luxury cars under false names. They would then intimidate all their victims. Today's arrest would be part of another part of the investigation involving the Tate brothers. The two men were first arrested in December 2022 and were placed under house arrest from April to August 2023. In both cases, the charges related to human trafficking and rape.
