Thus, requests for self-defense courses for women are increasing. “A woman who is used to managing contact will be more accustomed to not letting herself be overwhelmed by external fear, she may be more likely to run away or ask for help,” explains Gloria Peritore, three-time champion of world of kickboxing, which helps victims with its social commitment in projects against violence against women.
