Money for ski facilities, horses and clinics: what's in the Meloni government's omnibus decree

Refreshments and various financings are included in the Omnibus decree published before the summer holidays by Palazzo Chigi and published on Friday in the Official Journal. Among the measures, Repubblica analyses, are 13 million euros for the ski areas of the Apennine ridge (after a winter with little snow), the rescue of the Santa Lucia hospital in Rome, which had already received an offer from Tosinvest of the Angelucci group. and three thousand hirings at the Municipality of Rome in view of the Jubilee of 2025. But the decree is not limited to this.

Gorizia and “Neapolis 2500”

For Gorizia, which will be the European Capital of Culture in 2025, a contribution of three million is on the way. For the twenty-fifth centenary of the foundation of ancient Naples, the “Neapolis 2500” committee, so dear to Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano, is endowed with one million euros, opening up the possibility of public or private donations. Those who sit on the board of directors will only receive reimbursements but no compensation. For amateur sports associations, reliefs and concessions, with also an advertising investment of up to 7 million euros. Regarding the equestrian field, the decree provides for a reduction of VAT to 5% for horses “within 18 months of their birth”. But there are those who do not go unnoticed, adds Repubblica, and not at Palazzo Chigi. Last Wednesday, in the Culture Commission of the Chamber, a loan of almost seven million euros was approved for Latina, which will have an institution to celebrate the centenary of the city of Agro Pontino in 2032.
