Madonna and the story of her near-death experience: “God called me to him, I said 'no, no, no!'” – The video

Madonna returns to talk about her health issues and does so in the place she's most used to expressing all her emotions: a stage. During the first of five concerts planned in Los Angeles, the American artist told her fans what happened last summer, when she found herself in intensive care for a serious bacterial infection. In his speech on stage at the Kia Forum, the superstar spoke about “near-death experience”, a near-death experience, during which she also encountered God. “I'm not kidding, it was pretty scary,” Madonna told disbelieving fans at the concert. “Obviously – continues the artist – I had no idea because I was in an induced coma, but when I woke up the first word I said was “no”, or at least That’s what my assistant told me.” And that “no,” Madonna says, was actually a response to God: “He said to me, ‘Do you want to come with us? Do you want to come with me? Are you coming this way? And I said 'no, no, no!' A speech as incredible as it was unexpected, which the fans greeted with applause. Madonna then thanked her doctor, Dr. David Agus, who was also in the audience: “He had to put up with a lot of interesting phone calls from me. When I was sick last summer and literally couldn't walk from bed to the bathroom, I called him every other day to ask why I had no energy and when my energy would return . He only replied to me by saying 'go out in the sun'.”
