Less than 100 days before the opening ceremony of the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, the images of the drone flying over Paris show the preparations underway in the places which will host certain competitions of the largest sporting event in the world which will be held from July 26 to August 11, with the Paralympic Games beginning on August 28 and ending on September 8, 2024.
Paris City Hall has been displaying the colors of the Games for several months, in preparation for the arrival of the Olympic flame in the capital on July 14 and the start of the marathon.
Place de la Concorde, at the end of the Avenue des Champs Elysées, has been transformed to accommodate some of the new things recently introduced to generate greater interest among young people such as BMX freestyle, skateboarding and the novelty of breakdancing.
For the Paralympic Games, Place de la Concorde will host the opening ceremony of the Games on August 28.
Near the Seine, the Grand Palais, built for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, was renovated to host fencing, Paralympic fencing, taekwondo and para taekwondo events.
The Olympic Games will bring together 10,500 Olympic athletes and 4,400 Paralympic athletes from 206 countries.
