wingsuit flight over the Thames is breathtaking

Marco Fürst and Marco Waltenspiel were the first to perform a wingsuit flight over London's Tower Bridge on Sunday May 2.

The two skydivers jumped from a helicopter about a kilometer in the air, flying over the River Thames before being thrown through the bridge's towers.

The stunt took place after extensive training in Oxfordshire, UK, which involved using cranes to simulate the dimensions of the bridge, an icon of the English capital.

During the jump, the two skydivers reached a maximum speed of 246 km/h.
