Justin Timberlake's license suspended: He stopped driving drunk, singer refused to take balloon test

He was driving at night in the Hamptons, a seaside resort in New York. However, the speed and trajectory of the car made the police suspicious. When they stopped the vehicle, they found Justin Timberlake clearly intoxicated while driving. On June 18, after an evening spent drinking with friends, the 43-year-old singer was arrested for drunk driving. After a night in a cell, Justine Timberlake was released on bail. Today, August 3, a hearing took place in the trial against him. The artist was connected from Belgium. The American judge decided to temporarily suspend the defendant's license. The hearing was marked by tense moments, he reports NBC Newsand the magistrate even reprimanded the singer's lawyer for some statements he described as “irresponsible.” In addition, the judge also threatened to issue a gag orderthat is, prohibiting any comment on matters related to the trial. The case would likely have been closed by now if Justin Timberlake had not refused to submit to the balloon test. The singer, however, continues to claim that he was just drinking a cocktail and was not drunk while driving.
