The positive streak of the championship leaders continues. Inter put in a great performance by beating Atalanta with a resounding 4-0, the second in a row after that against Lecce, which leaves no room for interpretation. Inter opened the ball in the 26th minute with a goal born from uncertainty from the Atalanta goalkeeper. Carnesecchi, who came out to anticipate Mkhitaryan, lost control of the ball which landed at Darmian's feet. The Nerazzurri defender coolly took advantage of the error and placed the ball in the back of the bag with a low shot that left no escape.

After a missed penalty by Lautaro, Dimarco found himself in the right place at the right time. In the 54th minute, the Inter player pounced on the ball pushed aside by Carnesecchi and, with a blow from behind, scored from a few steps away.

The fourth and final goal arrived in the 72nd minute, the result of a radio-controlled shot from Sánchez who served Frattesi in the penalty area. However, the joy did not last long: Frattesi left the field due to an adductor problem. In his place Klaassen.

The goal denied to De Ketelaere (and why)

The Bergamo team found the opener thanks to uncertainty from the Inter rearguard. After a misunderstanding between Asllani and Bastoni, the ball was recovered by Pasalic who attempted a shot, but was met with a quick response from Nerazzurri goalkeeper Sommer. The ball, however, ended up at the feet of De Ketelaere who did not hesitate to place it in the back of the net. Inter players, however, protested an alleged handball by Miranchuk which preceded the goal. Referee Colombo, after waiting for VAR instructions and viewing the footage, found that Miranchuk had indeed touched the ball with his hand, even if not intentionally. The unnatural position of the arm, stretched and not aligned with the movement of the body, may have influenced the final decision of the match director: goal disallowed for De Ketelaere.
