From the sea of Sardinia to the skyscrapers of the United Arab Emirates, in a few hours of flight: Olbia and Dubai reach agreements to inaugurate a new routea direct flight from low-cost airline flydubai which will depart on June 15 and will be operational throughout the summer season, allowing much more than just the possibility of connecting two very different international tourist destinations.
On this side of the flight, in fact, lie some of the most sought-after coastlines in Italy (and beyond), which can be a potential attraction for the Emirati public. On the other hand, Dubai is certainly an interesting destination for a trip to what is positioned as the world of the future, between cutting-edge technologies and architecture that seems to defy the laws of physics.

Connection details
THE new Olbia-Dubai flightpresented by the Sardinia Region at the Arabian Travel Market, the most important international fair dedicated to inbound and outbound tourism in the United Arab Emirates, at the Dubai World Trade Center, will be managed by the flydubai airline of the Emirates group.
Two weekly connections will be activated, every Tuesday and Saturday from June 15 to August 31, 2024with a very precise strategic objective which was described byregional tourism advisor for the Sardinia region Franco Cuccureddu. The public concerned, explained the city councilor on the occasion of the announcement of the new air route, is not only that of the Emirates, but also, perhaps above all, that of the many independents, many Europeans and Americans who live in Dubai and the Arabs of the Emirates, who in summer, when the temperatures there are very high, look for a place with a milder climate for their vacation.
But it is also an opportunity for Sardinian tourists to fly at affordable prices (flydubai is the Emirates government's low-cost airline) to an exotic destination, as well as a connecting hub with the rest of the world.
