Earthquake in the Campi Flegrei, shock of magnitude 3.4 and seismic swarm: fear also in Naples

A magnitude 3.4 earthquake was recorded in the Campi Flegrei region shortly after 10 a.m. today March 3. The earthquake was then followed by others of less intensity for around ten minutes at a depth of three kilometers. Also this time the earthquake was clearly felt in Naples, especially in the areas closest to the area and in the neighborhoods of Pianura and Fuorigrotta. Reports have also come from those living on lower floors. So far, no damage to people or things has been reported. Already yesterday, March 2, a seismic swarm with an epicenter at Campi Flegrei was recorded between 10:58 p.m. and 11:03 p.m., with a magnitude between 1.3 and 1.7. Half an hour after the first strongest tremor, five other smaller tremors were felt in the municipalities of Bacoli, Monte di Procida, Quarto and Marano.
