Complaint from Margherita Agnelli: “I wanted secret accounts abroad, they gave me 15 Pandas and 3 tractors”

New details emerge on the controversy surrounding the Agnelli inheritance. From what he reveals The truth, a file ended up on the table of the Institutional Supervisory Relations Department of the Bank of Italy. These are documents forming part of the tax fraud investigation involving John Elkann and two Agnelli family consultants, with the family's alleged Turin safe at the center of attention. The P. trust company is suspected of having hidden funds worth $900 million by associating with the Luxembourg bank Pictet & Cie Europe Sa. The investigation follows a complaint filed in 2009 by Margherita Agnelli , aiming to claim his share of the inheritance allegedly hidden in tax havens. An inspection by the Guardia di Finanza at the P. fiduciaria uncovered a limited company in Liechtenstein, while a file containing suspicious transaction reports was forwarded to the Bank of Italy.

The father's two trusted advisors

The case is part of a broader conflict over the Agnelli inheritance, many aspects of which are already at the center of a criminal investigation in Milan for illegal payments, attempted extortion and money laundering. In previous complaints, Margherita had named two of her father's trusted advisers, Franzo Grande Stevens and Gianluigi Gabetti, as the main managers of hidden assets, including those abroad. The dispute concerns the sharing of the inheritance between Margherita and John Elkann, the latter contesting the management of the estate by the trustees appointed by his father. Agnelli's daughter reports that Gabetti accused her of not recognizing her father's true wishes.

Heritage abroad

“I reminded him that I had not yet received the “global” situation of the estate: it was then that Grande Stevens intervened and, placing on the table a sheet of paper containing the current accounts and the suites
few assets in Italy (around fifteen Fiat Pandas and Fiorinis; 7 Piaggio mopeds and 3 tractors), he only told me: “That's the rest”. My mother and my son did not say a word to defend me from the insults of Gabetti, who left the room”, is the story of Margherita Agnelli about the hidden treasure that they tried to impose on her and which will be detailed later in the memorial given to the accountant.
