The funeral of Alexeï Navalny, the opponent of Vladimir Putin who died in the Arctic penal colony where he was detained on February 16 (according to what the Russian authorities reported), will take place on Friday March 1 in Moscow. The ceremony will take place on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God in Mar'ino, a district in the southeast of the capital. His body will then be buried at the Borisovskoe cemetery. The spokesperson for the Navalny team, Kira Yarmysh, announced this on X, inviting everyone who wishes to intervene to “arrive quickly”.
