A retired carabinieri barricaded himself in his house with his wife in Pavullo, province of Modena. The reasons for this gesture are not yet clear and at the moment we do not know if the man is armed. According to what Ansa writes, the 70-year-old man – being treated for a form of depression – made a similar gesture in 2022 and surrendered after a long negotiation. This time too, colleagues from law enforcement rushed to the scene and, together with the police, were apparently trying to convince the man to leave the house.
