Tennis, Berrettini fights but loses in the final in Phoenix

A hard-fought match but lost in two sets. Matteo Berrettini failed to add another trophy to his cabinet. In the final of the challenger tournament in Phoenix, Arizona, the Roman tennis player was beaten by the Portuguese Nuno Borges 7-5, 7-6 in two hours.

The Roman tennis player returned after a long break of 7 months due to injury. Berrettini, now world number 142, will return to the field this week in Miami where he obtained a wild card at the Masters 1000 in Florida.
