Meet today in Rome, at the Rai headquarters in Saxa Rubra, with a delegation of Ukrainian journalists as part of the project “The Europe-Ukraine Desk“, first step of the training trip to Italy of the team of Ukrainian colleagues.
The meeting is oriented towards a discussion on themes, contents, critical issues of field work and coverage of the conflict, with the participation of Rainews24 correspondents Ilario Piagnarelli, Veronica Fernández and with the moderation of Giulia Bosetti.
The Europe-Ukraine Desk it is a project launched by the network n-ostcomposed of more than 250 European journalists and information activists, with support from the EU in early 2023.
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, n-ost has focused its efforts on supporting Ukrainian journalists through fundraising campaigns and close collaborations. With this project n-ost aims to foster cross-border exchanges and collaboration between journalists from Ukraine and Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy and Spain.
