The next wedding of Millie Bobby Brown with Jake Bongiovi will see his Stranger Things co-star in a very important role.
Matthew Modinewho plays Brown's “father” in the Netflix sci-fi series, revealed to Daily access – as reported by the Independent – that he will celebrate the actress's marriage.
During an interview, the actor confirmed that Brown thought it was a great idea to have him perform the ceremony with rock star John Bon Jovi's son.
“I have one of those licenses for marrying people and Millie thought it would be great and then Jake said it would be a great idea, so I wrote the wedding vows and they loved what I got written,” she told hosts Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover.
In Stranger Things, Modine plays Dr. Martin Brenner, a government scientist who experiences a tumultuous dynamic with Brown's character, Eleven, who calls him “Daddy.”
The 20-year-old actress announced her engagement to Bongiovi, 21, in April 2023 with a black and white photo on Instagram.
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Brown shared that Bongiovi proposed to her underwater — they are both avid divers.
