Kristian's endless white jumps and curves

Happiness is in the legs of those who succeed. Those who manage to descend without ever stopping on the thirteen black snow slopes of Cortina d'Ampezzo which, in winter 2026 will be the capital of world skiing with the Olympics.

And Kristian Ghedina skied them with the enthusiasm of someone skiing them for the first time with cameras attached to his helmet, a racing suit and mirrored goggles to “close” the protective helmet. Extraordinary images created by a champion who has stood on the top step of the world podium three times, winning the World Cup 13 times in the so-called “fast disciplines”.

His first downhill victory dates from February 3, 1990 on the slopes of Cortina, now 36 years after this historic victory, for the Winter Olympic Games. With the hope that – always from here – a new story of success and toasts can begin for another Italian.
