Italy's flag bearers at the Olympic Games

The ceremony to hand over the Italian flags will take place on June 13 at the Quirinale.

The choice of the two standard bearers fell, as CONI had already announced, on two Olympians: Gimbo won the gold medal in Tokyo, on August 1, 2021, during the Olympic high jump final , tied with Qatari Barshim. Arianna Errico, a 10-time world champion, won team foil gold and individual silver at London 2012 and team bronze at Tokyo 2020.
