Italian Bike Festival 2024: all the news from the Misano show

The bicycle and cycle tourism sector is also an economic sector that, according to data from the Isnart (National Institute for Tourism Research) 2022 report, is confirmed to be in constant growth, with more than 30 million visitors linked to the world of two-wheelers and associated more than 4 billion euros.

The opportunity to discover the best offers from specialist operators and to plan holidays on two wheels, stays in bike hotels, new itineraries, but also to admire and try out the latest innovations in the world of cycling, is the opportunityItalian Bike FestivalInternational Bicycle Show, scheduled for September 13-15, 2024 at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”, in Misano Adriatico (Rimini).

In its seventh edition, it welcomes this year 600 companies in a space of 60 thousand square meters.

Many events are scheduled: conferences and debates, bike tests on dedicated routes and races for all levels. Among others, some of the great names of national and international cycling were present, including Fabio Aru, Mario Cipollini, Claudio Chiappucci, Filippo Ganna, Francesco Moser, Vincenzo Nibali.

Arena Talk Tourism

It is a strong link that unites the world of cycling with that of tourism and the discovery of the territory through cycle tourism. For this in space “Arena Talk Tourism” are scheduled 17 in-depth meetings and networking where we will talk about territories and good practices, itineraries and cycle paths in different regions of Italy.

Bike tests and races for everyone

In two dedicated areas, visitors will be able to ride and test new mountain bike, e-MTB, cyclocross and gravel models, as well as all kinds of racing bikes, urban bikes and all means of soft mobility.

For those who want to test themselves, there is the “La Gialla Cycling” race program, which allows you to create your own team and compete for the prize-giving as the “largest team” on the “La Gialla Strada” and “La Gialla Gravel Routes”, to the group ride dedicated to families.

“La Carica delle Grazielle”, a parade on the legendary Graziella bike or one of its “cousins”, is dedicated to vintage lovers, a unique experience with prizes for the most original looks (meeting on Saturday 14 September at 2:30 p.m.).

There is also space for families and little “budding cyclists” inside the MWC square with the “Skills Pump Track”, a track designed for BMX and dirt bikes, perfect for performing aerial stunts and racing on dirt tracks; while in the “Kids Pump Track” area, the little ones can saddle up and try pedaling with balance bikes, bicycles without pedals. And for an extra pinch of adrenaline, the Bike Park “al Campetto” is the special area for cyclists of all ages and levels, with an airbag jump.
