Influencer Veronica Ferraro's confession: “I can't have children, but I chose in vitro fertilization. We need more culture on the subject”

Veronica Ferraro, influencer and close friend of Chiara Ferragni, reveals her relationship with motherhood. With a long post on Instagram, she openly reveals that she undertook the path of in vitro fertilization (Fivet) with her husband Davide Simonetta, a well-known musician and music producer, to try to have a child. It was at the age of 34 that she declared she wanted to be a mother for the first time. Even though most of her friends had already started families, Ferraro is keen to emphasize that she never experienced this issue as a burden. “I know that each of us's lives follow different paths and I have never been a victim of the conventions that our society imposes on us about these things, even in a veiled way. No one should ever feel guilty or wrong if they don't want children or if Hourly of his life does not coincide with that of the people around him”, he writes on social networks. But at the same time, he recognizes that “we cannot escape the rules of the biological clock”.

Between attempts, regrets and little knowledge

Ferraro thus begins to recount Davide's failed attempts to have a child, explaining that they both discovered they had problems with natural conception. “Even in this case, I did not get discouraged – insists the influencer -, I know that today there are many methods to try anyway. My only regret, however, is that I did not have greater knowledge and awareness, years ago, of the possibility of vitrifying my eggs, as I certainly would have done so at a younger age, when my ability to reproduction was higher. And here, the announcement: “Many of you already understood: a few days ago I started the process of ovarian stimulation and then, after the wedding, we will complete the quinté (with good results, let's hope so !) “. She will be followed by Dr Daniela Galliano, author of How much I would love you. How medical science helps you have a child. “I don’t usually share such private things – Ferraro concludes – but I really hope that my trip can make people who have a story similar to mine feel less alone.”
