For Italy, gold on the sand remains a taboo: Brazilian champion

Brazil wins the title of beach soccer world champion. In the World Cup final played at the Dubai Design District, the Seleçao beat a great Italy 6-4. Rodrigo was the absolute protagonist of the green and gold with a hat-trick, then Bruno Xavier scored, an own goal from Genovali and Brendo. The doubles from Genovali himself and Fazzini were not enough for the Azzurri. Brazil, also thanks to the expulsion of Italian goalkeeper Casapieri, won the world title for the 15th time in its history, the sixth since beach soccer was organized by FIFA. For Italy, however, this is the third defeat in the final, after the round of 16 in 2008 and 2019.
