Two cars collided on the Adriatic national road 16, near Vasto, in the province of Chieti. According to a first reconstruction, a Jeep Renegade and a BMW coupe were involved in the front. The results of the accident, the causes of which are still to be determined, amounted to three deaths and one injured person who was transferred to San Pio hospital. The victims are said to be the driver of the BMW, a well-known entrepreneur in the restaurant world, a man and his minor niece who were traveling in the Jeep, as well as his wife – unharmed – and his daughter, injured. The clash occurred near the Casarza beach parking lot, where vehicles and rescuers from 118, firefighters and carabinieri intervened.
