This percentage has never been recorded in American newspaper polls. Trump's ability to unify his Republican electoral base, writes the Nyt, it is known: 97% of those who said they would vote for him four years ago would vote for him again. And none of his former supporters would side with Biden. On the contrary, the current president has on his side 83% of voters who voted for him in the last presidential elections, while 10% told the newspaper that they had moved closer to Trump.
