Despite accusations of fraud, sexual assault, and conspiracy to defraud the United States, Donald Trump is in better shape than ever. This is what the latest survey shows New York Times/Siena: If the candidates for the White House in November were current and former US presidents, 48% of Americans would vote for Trump. The legal procedure, in addition to emptying his campaign coffers, therefore did not produce the effect desired by his opponents. The investigation of Nyt he also points out that only one in four voters believe that the United States is moving in the right direction. While more than twice as many voters are convinced that Biden's policies have harmed them, even in the face of an economy – according to the results – in terrible conditions. 43% of Americans would rather vote for the Democratic candidate, but 47% “strongly disapprove” of Biden’s actions. This percentage has never been recorded in American newspaper polls. Trump's ability to unify his Republican electoral base, writes the Nyt, it is known: 97% of those who said they would vote for him four years ago would vote for him again. And none of his former supporters would side with Biden. On the contrary, the current president has on his side 83% of voters who voted for him in the last presidential elections, while 10% told the newspaper that they had moved closer to Trump.
