Banksy's environmentalist graffiti, which appeared last Sunday in London on the side wall of a residential building on Hornsey Road, in the Finsbury Park area, in the northern suburbs of London, has already been vandalized. The work is now largely covered in white paint, poured over the original drawing representing a tree with bare branches (and touches of green paint to simulate the leaves). The mural, another artistic creation of denunciation, had aroused the curiosity of many and a source of pride for the inhabitants. One of them, Matt McKenna, told media that last night's vandalism was a disgrace. The municipality of Islington, responsible for the sector, is trying to evaluate a form of restoration of the structure.
