From Vienna Linz

After a short stop at Durnsteinwhere Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned upon his return from the Crusades, you can admire the Wachau Valley, designed by vineyards and picturesque villages protected by UNESCO. So, another marvel: IBenedictine Abbey of Melkthe most famous monastery in Austria which stands on a rock shaped by the Danube in its course.

Arrive at Linzyou walk the streets of Old City, between the Baroque buildings and the Renaissance palaces which frame the main square (Hauptplatz), and you go up the Pöstlingberg Hill to enjoy the beautiful view of the city and the Danube.

Another morning at sea and we reach the historic town of Passauin Germany, known as the city of three rivers because it stands on a peninsula at the confluence of the Inn, Ilz and Danube.

On arrival at Vilshofenyou are greeted by the city's baroque tower reflected on the river.
