19 thousand euros of annual rent paid by the president of Inter Beppe Marotta for 120 square meters in the heart of Brera. Even if, according to the Revenue Agency, the costs should be close to 42,000 euros. While the provincial president of small owners Pier Filippo Giuggioli pays 32,500 euros per year for over 200 square meters. The complaint came from the extraordinary commissioner Paolo Tronca during a hearing at the regional council. In which he explained the plan to entrust the real estate assets to the public company Invimit: “I reiterate my firm will to face all needs, but I cannot accept other paradoxical things, which immediately caught my attention and which continue to arise”.
The assessment
Tronca explained that “according to an assessment made by a structure of the Land Agency, there are taxes that represent half, a third, a quarter, a fifth and even a tenth of what they should be. For example, prestigious houses paid 5,000 euros per year.” The Milan edition of Repubblica gives other examples: Matteo Mangia, son of the famous lawyer Rocco Mangia, has a rental contract for about 160 square meters for which he pays a rent of 13,600 euros. For the AdE, it would have to pay 54 thousand. And again: a 240 square meter apartment in the Magenta district is rented to a relative of Vito Corrao, former health director of Pat. At 5,100 euros per year against an estimated value of 81 thousand. In the Washington area, an apartment of over a hundred square meters is rented to a former official of the Ministry of the Interior with an annual rent of 2,500 euros. According to the Observatory of the Revenue Agency, it should be at least 26,680 euros. With the exception of Marotta's, all the contracts are expired.
3.7 million
In Trivulzio's budget there is a hole of 3.7 million that concerns unpaid contributions. “Many contracts were concluded ad personam. Like the one who, instead of earning a relatively modest amount like 26,000 euros a year, has been earning 2,500 for years and years. “These are data, I do not add assessments. But in the legacies of those who donated the properties to Trivulzio, it is written that these must be used for the purpose of supporting the activity carried out by the Pat”, concludes Tronca.
