This time it was the turn of the book dedicated to Merlo “With the heart between the lines” by Alice Porta, his friend and fan. In place of the book, an insult addressed to the author of the book was left with the writing: “AP Shame on you.” This gesture seems to insinuate that the thirty-year-old author is exploiting Merlo's popularity for his work. A gesture considered unmotivated by fans, given that the book had been approved by the Merlo family.
Profits from sales of the book are donated to the activities of the Romantico Ribelle association, an organization born in memory of the singer and chaired by his parents. “What happened today at Michi’s grave is shameful – write those responsible for the association on social networks – This is not the first time that the objects located there have been stolen or damaged , but removing Alice Porta's book and leaving it in its place is an insult to her, it is something we cannot accept.
