more than a thousand coffins on the square in memory of the victims

One thousand and forty coffins in Piazza del Popolo in Rome, as many as victims in the workplace each year: this is the initiative organized by Uil to draw public attention to a daily tragedy.

In this way, the Uil wants to remember those who, ultimately, no longer returned home and to their loved ones, so as not to resign themselves to the idea that these are inevitable deaths and to urge politics and the government to implement all necessary measures to strengthen prevention, invest in security, sanction those who do not respect the rules.

The general secretary of Uil, Pierpaolo Bombardieri, was present in the square to read some of the names of those people whose lives were shattered by non-compliance with security regulations. The participation of Stefano Massini is also expected.
