Ladispoli, the hyperactive child suspended from school: the TAR readmits him but the director does not let him in

A 6-year-old boy was suspended from the Melone Institute in Ladispoli. The child, treated at Gemelli Hospital, suffers from a combined attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) associated with marked difficulty in regulating behavioral and aggressive aspects, according to the diagnosis reported today by the Repubblica Roma. The school's principal, Riccardo Agresti, called a class council for “community distancing,” as the provision is called. But the father appealed to the regional administrative court which overturned the decision taken by the school. And he also ordered the institute to allocate to the minor a number of hours of support adapted to his deficit.

But yesterday the child was still not allowed to go to school. And so a new complaint began. But the director claims that the TAR has not decided on the child's return. And he adds: “If you are in a community, you have to learn to respect the rules, to then be able to come back respecting others. In 90/95% of cases it works,” he told the newspaper. Saying he would have liked to see “more collaboration from the family”.
