France becomes the first country in the world to explicitly include the right to voluntary termination of pregnancy in the Constitution. A modification of the Fundamental Charter approved by the overwhelming majority of parliamentarians, gathered exceptionally in congress in Versailles, at the gates of Paris. The Eiffel Tower began to sparkle to celebrate the event, while the inscriptions on the tower lit up “My body, my choice“, “My body, my choice“.
