“I'm going to make a massacre, you'll see how bad I can be”: Christian Sodano's messages to Désirée Amato before the murder

Christian Sodano had written by message that he wanted to “massacre” his ex-partner and that it would take “the army” to stop him. Desyrée Amato did not tell her family about her fear of the 27-year-old finance commissioner, but she sent the WhatsApp chats to a dear friend. The same messages are now published by Corriere della Sera, while investigations continue into the affair which broke out when Sodano, Tuesday February 13, in the middle of an argument with Desyrée, shot the mother of his ex-partner and her sister, killing them with his service pistol. Therefore, the concrete hypothesis of criminal harassment against Amato and that of premeditation for Sodano are also added to the file. In fact, the threats we read in the messages are also aimed at him. “You will see how bad I can be,” wrote the financier before deleting the message, but not quickly enough to prevent Desyrée from transmitting everything to her friend.

“Everything is your fault”

“You are an imposter – the marshal wrote to the young girl – you must suffer as much as I suffered. I will hurt you so much if it's the last thing I do. I don't care anymore.” The ex-girlfriend, who escaped the massacre, tries to reassure Sodano in the messages, who instead sends him the photo of the bloody hand on the knuckles with which he hit the wall. “You have to stay calm,” Amato writes again. “You always do this, but when will you grow up?” The financier replies: “It’s all your fault, now I can even kill myself. I’m not God to judge a person, but since God took away from me those who were dearest to me (parents, ed) I will also bring them to God. And I'll bring a lot of them. The ex-girlfriend responded by sounding like she didn't understand why Sodano was so angry with her: “But what did I do to you?” The response received was frightening: “Bad. You can't imagine how much. Don't worry, I'll have fun tomorrow. Do you like making me suffer? Perfect”
