Duplantis never stops. New world record in pole vault: the feat of 6.26 meters – The video

Armand Duplantis never stops. Twenty days after setting the new pole vault world record with a jump of 6.25 meters at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Swedish athlete gave a reminder – to the world and to himself – by improving again, if only by one centimeter. Today, Duplantis won the “Silesia Kamila Skolimowska Memorial” pole vault competition in Chorzow, Poland, with a jump of 6.26 meters. “Mondo”, as the 24-year-old Swede is nicknamed, thus sets the tenth world record in the discipline in four and a half years. The one with the athletics discipline is now a personal challenge for him – Olympic champion in Rio and Paris. Which could last for a long time.
