Renzi's joke to Giorgia Meloni: “Do you want to be an influencer? Albania will be his Pandoro…”

For Senator Toscano, the waste of public money is due to “a personal whim” of the Prime Minister

A “prejudicial” choice, that of the judges, not to validate the detention of migrants in Italian centers in Albania. At least that's how Giorgia Meloni defined it, who convened an ad hoc Council of Ministers on Monday to “overcome this obstacle” posed by the judiciary. While the migrants return to Italy (in Bari), Matteo Renzi teases the Prime Minister and launches his “owl”: “Due to my personal history and my political convictions, I am the last to want to defend the judiciary. And I will not go into the merits of the case because the confrontation with the judges has nothing to do with this Albanian case. The truth is more serious, Meloni has made a sensational mistake: he is wasting hundreds of millions of Italians just for his personal whim. But the real coup comes at the end, with the parallel with the poison between the leader of the Brothers of Italy and Chiara Ferragni: “She is an influencer, not a statesman. But this waste of Italian money is absurd and illogical: it will become his pandoro…”.
